Howdy y’all,
Just letting you know that 0.9 was released, it features Akismet 3 integration, just check the checkbox in the settings and your submissions will be protected from spam.

Just activated my Akismet. Unfortunately, now everything seems to be detected as spam with the result “Your submission looks spammy”.
I’m now unsure if I want to implement this with Akismet because I want it to be easy for real users to submit content. I’m just not sure how to accomplish that now.
Why would Akismet think I am a spammer? I’m logged in as admin.

Hey,
Can you post the shortcode you use? Is your Akismet configured properly?
I’ve been testing this feature on some high load sites, and so far, you’re the first one to report the issue.
I am running into this issue as well. My Akismet config seems fine, and other legitimate posts aren’t getting caught by the filter. I’m using the long form of the shortcode [fu-upload-form form_layout=”post_image”] with the proper closing code and a bunch of custom inputs in between.
I haven’t actually gotten an upload through since enabling the akismet.
