• Hey

I’m still using the pro version of 2.7 and can’t use the multiple image uploader. In fact, it never has worked for me. It always displays the error “Directory does not exist and could not be created.”

I wonder if this can be fixed with an update to the latest version (3.8), although I haven’t seen any update functionality for the pro version and I wouldn’t like to pay again – especially since the feature I payed for doesn’t even work yet and I have no way of knowing if it will.

Help is greatly appreciated – it sucks to manually upload images one-by-one if you got 200+ of them.

    Hi,

It sounds like write permissions need to be set for this directory. This is usually an issue that can be resolved by the hosting company. The image uploader uses the system temp directory to temporarily move the images to the server.

Could you tell me which path that would be exactly?

Or in which file I can see the code where it tries to access the directory? My host couldn’t find any problem with the system temp folder.

    Thanks!

The path would be specific to your hosting company. The file uses the tmpfile() PHP function to map the temp directory.

This forum is for the free version, support for the pro version can be found here:

Thanks for the reply – I relayed it to my hosting company and am awaiting their response now.

Where exactly would I find the support forum for the pro version on that site? Post a comment on the site?

I ask because I tried the contact formular but never got an answer through that.
