The calendar is a part of wordpress. It should automatically display in your local language. It may be that your wordpress installation isn’t correctly set to your language
Try this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress_in_Your_Language
I have russian version of WP. To be shured I reinstal my WordPress, but calendar still displays in English.
The plugin uses the date internationalization function: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/date_i18n
So if it’s not displaying in Russian there may be a localization problem. Try define the language in your config.php: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress_in_Your_Language
Hope this helps.
I’ve checked wpconfig.php:
define (‘WPLANG’, ‘ru_RU’);
Sorry, maybe it silly question as I’m newbie.
Can it be jQuery datepicker issue?
The datepicker is only used when you edit events so that shouldn’t cause any problems. Can you email me you website details so I can take a look. Email address is on the plugin setup page.
This is all fixed now. I’m also working on an update that should detect your locale and translate the calendar
