Plugin suddenly stopped working – and debugging tips?

After some design changes (mainly CSS based) the Plugin stopped working – no automatic links added anymore in the content.

Now, I supposed it has something to do with my design changes, though I didn’t really change anthing that I could imagine would interfere with the plugin.

Have you got any hints and tips on how to troubleshoot and find out what prevents the plugin from linking as it die before? I’m kind of helpless the content hasn’t changed and markup hasn’t changed in any way before and after the plugin stopped working …
