• I worked on my website for a bit before deciding it needed a child theme. Before I created the child theme, I gave the site a title of Artini-Arts Management.

Now I’ve activated the child theme, and the editor works fine. however, when i go to Appearance>Customize There is no preview and I cannot open any of the dropdowns. As such, I can’t change the site title.

Under Appearance>Header, it doesn’t give me the option of changing the text, just the option of showing it at all and what color I would like it to be.

    How do I fix this?

I’m discovering there’s all sorts of things I can’t change. For example, while I can change the header image, I can’t change the menu. I go into Appearance>Menu and make changes, but the changes don’t appear on the site.

To change the site title, try going to Settings > General from the admin dashboard.

As far as changing the menu goes, when you go to Appearance > Menus, click the Manage Locations tab and make sure you have a menu selected for Primary Navigation.
