    Hi,

I have been helping in this forum for some time now. Two suggestions.

    1. Many of the threads I answered have been resolved but have not been marked as resolved. It will be good if there is an easy way to notify a forum moderator about these threads so they can take action.

    2. When check my forum profile, it lists posts by the threads I last replied. But, many of the active threads which have been replied by the thread starter or others are buried deep down the list and skips from our view. It will be nice if we can list those threads by latest activity. I don’t like to be pinged through email and just check my user activity page to follow the threads.

  • 1. The problem here is that, 99% of the time, there is no way to know for sure that the issue was really resolved. So even if the forum mods were alerted, there would be nothing that could do most of the time.

    2. Yes. we know about that one too. It’s been repeatedly requested and is, I understand, on the To Do (aka Wish) list.

    Thanks for acknowledging the concerns.

There are many threads where the thread starter explicitly says that the issue has been resolved and yet the thread remains open. I understand that forum moderators may be under work load to oversee all discussions and do this activity.

If there is a way I can help regarding this, I will be glad to help.

Marking other people’s threads resolved is a very low priority for me anyway.

    Ditto.

As a helper in the forum, I feel good to see when a thread I helped is marked as resolved. It also helps to avoid the confusion of checking threads again and again by owing to the second issue I mentioned. Anyway, if this is a low priroity thing, no issues.
