• I see a lot of pleople having problems with showing photo’s in the thumbnails in Eazyest Gallery. I’ve read a lot of options to solve it.
    My question is:
    – do I really need to delete all other plugins? This is not an option for me: I need these other plugins (like a contact form…)
    – I still work in an offline version of the website, has this anything to do with the problem?

Thanks in advance for your help. I hope it can solve the problem, because it took me so much time already…

  • No you don’t need to delete all other plugins. I just ask to disable all other plugins and than check if it works. If it works than the problem is related to another plugin. You can enable the other plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing this. If it is still not working than it has something to do with easiest gallery it self and we need to look for a solution.
We have noticed jetpack can cause some problems which will be fixed when you disable and reenable this plugin.

    Dear Andre,

    Thanks for your quick reply.
Just to be sure: if I disable the plugins, nothing I already have built in these plugins will be lost? So if I activate them again, they contain everyting as before?

If I know for sure, I will try this. (although it would be nasty that I maybe have to remove one of the plugins I already use in the site…)

    Thanks in advance.

yes all the plugins will remember their settings and if you re enable them they will work just like before.

    Dear Andre,

    Unfortunately it doesn’t work…

Beside that the thumbnail is still not a photo, the photo itself doesn’t show also. This error message occurs:
    Not Found
The requested URL /htdocs/wp-content/uploads/gallery/avondvullend-toneel/2013-van-eur-femilie-mojje-ut-hebbe/2013-van-eur-femilie-mojje-ut-hebbe.jpg was not found on this server.

The folder in the settings of Eazyest gallery is: C:/BitNami/wordpress-3.8-0/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/gallery/
and the subfolders names are oke.

    What could be wrong?

I still work in an offline version of the website, has this anything to do with the problem?

    Hi @ellin,

Try to set the Eazyest Gallery folder outside the uploads gallery.
    – first remove the gallery images from media library (have a backup of the images somewhere else for later)
    – then change the gallery folder in the settings
    – move the images into the gallery folder

    Unfortunately this doesn’t work also…
Did the deactivation of the other plugins one more time after setting the Eazyest Gallery folder outside the uploads gallery…

Strange thing is: I’ve set a slider in the sidebar and there one picture is shown (hurray!) but from another location E.G. does mention:
    http://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Welkom-op-nieuwe-website-smal-150×150.jpg

Can somebody help me or should I just choose another gallery plugin?

[Moderator Note: No bumping, thank you.]
