• My audio tags no longer work on a Mac (neither Safari nor Chrome) nor on the iPad/iPhone. Audio tags are initially hidden, and does not seem to be changed to visible. It works on Windows. The audio is added using the editor, so no hack from my side. No extra plugins enabled.

Se http://stua17.com/noen-smakebiter/ for an example. There should be audio players below each melody name.

I have updated to the last theme version 1.8 and WP version 3.9.1.

@wphenrik have you fixed the issue? I see 7 audio player in that page, are you using a different script?

@gorilla Themes – I could not find an easy fix. It looked like the page was being initiated/ended by the header/footer functions, so, I assumed that this was not the problem (as with several others having had similar issues on WP). Therefore, I did a temp fix by manually entering plain HTML5 codes for audio on the page. It works but does not look as nice, and is not nice to older browsers. I am not using the audio scripts provided by WordPress and the Mountain Creek theme. I manually updated the theme recently (diff’ing old/new files and applying the few updates provided – I just reformatted one of the updated files to make it readable).

Thank you for sharing, I’ll investigate and work with the html5 audio shortcode.
