Trying to get the edit thumb feature to work, the image on the left side does not show up. I have read similar posts but I have not been able to fix this. Some things I have tried

    • Different browsers: IE9, FF, Chrome, Safari
    • Server memory is set at 128MB
    • Using GD2 Library
    • Latest Version of jQuery 1.8.2
    • Disabling all other plugins
    • Downgrading nextgen gallery
    • Re-uploading images after trying all this
    • And a few other weird fixes people have suggested

    Any ideas?

Okay, It appears to be the theme that’s being used is causing the issue. I switched themes before and nothing changed, but I tried it again and switched to twentyeleven and ran the plugin health test on overview, went back to check the edit thumb and it was working.

So how can I go about making this theme compatible? I’m using the echoes theme.

With the problematic theme enabled, the plugin check fails on theme compatibility and the response is “Success”… doesn’t help me much
