2 content section on a single page

    im trying to create 2 sections or blocks on a page.
    i want to have a menu on one side and have a shopping cart on the other side. did not find a plugin for this. doing it thru a wedget does not work. it put it on all pages and if it works it changes the format of the text. the multiple-content-blocks plugin did not work for me.
    i’m totally new to wordpress and know nothing about HTML.
