Wordfence is not scanning my site automatically

I have WF installed on several sites. On the one I installed it first (long ago), it scans the site daily for changes and reports when they are found, like updates for a plugin.

I build a site to test some things out and on this site it does not run at all daily. I left it alone for a while to see if it was a glitch, and the last scan was May 29 and since that day it has not scanned the site automatically.

Does any body know what could cause this? Any tips?

I have been puzzling over this for a while now and one thought I had was; could the cause be that I have the domain where it is not scanning, using a email address to alert me that is based on that domain? For the other site I use the same email address.

Example, the domain is where WF does not scan is mydomain.com, the email to send alerts to is me@mydomain.com. For the other sites I use the same email address (me@mydomain.com) although they have different domain name, example otherdomain.com.

Would really appreciate some thoughts on this as it is driving me potty.
