When you logged in to the MySQL admin, did you change two references to the new URL? If you check your wp_options and double check both siteurl and home have the right URL.
I’m not sure both have been done, as http://www.speak-visual.com/wp-login.php would redirect you to http://elenadonchenko.com/wp-login.php automatically and doesn’t yet.

I just changed siteurl and homeurl to elenadonchenko.com and can’t even login to the old wordpress dashboard anymore.
When Dreamhost moved the files for me the new site was running well. The only thing – I couldn’t access its Dashboard at all. That’s when I statrted ecperimenting, and now it’s not running at all.
You’re welcome… I can see the wp-login.php so in theory you should be able to login with previous details if nothing changed.
You can check in wp_users and just check the username is the same… you can reset the password in there too, but might want to leave that for now.
I don’t think it will matter, but I think you have one set to WWW and one NON-WWW on siteurl/home… may just help to have both the same, but not sure its the fix.
The WordPress install on http://elenadonchenko.com also looks like a blank install? Are all files definately over and is the domain pointing to the Dreamhost server?

http://www.elenadonchenko.com/ has no index.php and so shows the files on the server, and there is only:

I think a lot of files are missing from the new host (such as wp-login.php, folder /wp-includes/. I’d suggest starting again with a fresh upload of all files to the new domain hosting.

Hi Sarankumar, thanks a lot. I did what you advised and I’m able to login to new site dashboard now. But the site url still needs wp-admin prefix to be displayed…hmm…
Jmmonty – did you mean to move files via ftp or inside my dreamhost account? I never moved anything in Dreamhost and I asked them to do this for me. So if its just Filezilla then I can play with that. For the dreamhost side Ineed to contact them again
