Is There A Way To Disable Comments?

    It seems like EVERY comment I get is spam. I can dissaprove them before anyone sees them, but its kind of a pain. Is there a way to disable comments entirely?

    Are you running akismet, the spam blocker?

    Yes, you can do this by going to the EDIT POST and then look below where you write the post. You will see a box with “COMMENTS AND PINGS”. If you click this, it will open and you can uncheck the box saying enable comments.

    Finally something I know how to do!

    think2twice, I’ve never heard of akismet. Is that some kind of plugin?

    Yes, it is there with every downloaded package. You just need to activate it by getting an API key at wordpress.COM.
