problems with reading comments in the backend

Since the update to 3.9.1 I am having problems reading the comments in the backend. The scroll has become so erratic in jumping forward and backward on the page that the time consumption in doing the work is unacceptably increased. This is a problem that has recently developed, there is something wrong in the programming and it seems to be getting worse.
