Hi Mike,
Apologies for the delay, I’ve been out of town for the last two weeks. Anyhow, I’m back now and would love to take a look at this issue. Feel free to PM me your creds at mickeyskay [@at] gmail.com. Thanks!
PS – is this a dev or production site? Anything I need to be aware of before taking a look? Can you please create a backup just in case?
Hi Mike,
I just installed the latest 4.0 alpha build from Github and can’t seem to reproduce this issue.
Can you confirm if you’re still experiencing it?
If so, any update on those creds?
Thanks!
– Mickey
Hi mickey, I have sent you a few emails with login credentials but have not heard anything in regards to you having received them. is it possible that they were sent to your spam folder?
Just to tidy this up. I replied to you via email and as per our discussion, anyone encountering this issue please check out the following trac ticket that may have to do with WP 4.0 alpha issues – we’ll see. . .

I`ve upgraded to 4.0 one of my websites.
One major error at one point when trying to upload an image. Its telling me there an "http error" and it doesn
t finish the upload. The image was not uploaded, but insted when i`ve looked in media files, i can see that there are over 400 img files with the same name (insead of my image image, there was a grey placeholder).
Just to let you know, if someone had the same problem…
This is how i`ve fix it:
I`ve made a downgrade to 3.9.2 and now it works fine again.
All the best,
Gabriel
