How would I get my blog (digitaltutorials.net) to setup with the SubCategories to actually act like SubCategories.

Now all that do is basically create a category the difference is in there url. This feature is pointless the way it is currently setup.

Define it for me… why do YOU think they are not real subcategories?

Oh ok sorry, lol
I would like them to display like this:
Lessons
-PHP
Tutorials
-PHP

Instead of:
Lessons
PHP
PHP
Tutorials

Want to make it easier for the users to navigate.

That’s a matter of CSS styling (eventually using the proper parameter; see the Docs: Template_Tags/wp_list_categories) – hint: hierarchical

Also: Styling_Lists_with_CSS

(the default theme uses non-hierarchical, switch to a normal theme)
