(plugin flickrss) just can’t get it to work

I have read and read and still can not get this to work. I followed step by step putting installing it. I put the last step in the sidebar php (Add <?php get_flickrRSS(); ?> somewhere in your templates)
IAm I supposed to put anything in the quotes? I only have one set at flickr and that is the address that I have where you configure flickrss.
I read that I need to have a flickr rss feed on my dash board but I have no idea how to do that. I still have no pictures on my side bar and would love to have this work. Thank you in advance.
