• I see that many others are or have had the same problem as me.

    When I try to post a new article, I receive this message

    Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

    The message tries to load but never does, thus not allowing me to save, update or publish a post.

    I have deactivated my plugins and added them back one at a time. I have changed the auto save time. I have contacted my host/server who has stated that it is a known WordPress problem happening on many different servers. Nothing has worked.

    My site speed has slowed dramatically. I cannot get into the Admin areas because the login always times out. I have not added any new plugins or done any updates recently.

    I am a relative WordPress newbie and have read every Forum entry concerning this problem. I am at a standstill at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I’m sorry but this is not “a known WordPress problem”. It’s almost certainly a hosting issue. You need to go back to your hosts about it.
