wp_get_archives with CPT results in 404

    I’m using the wp_get_archives support for custom post types that this plugin adds, but when clicking on the archive links I get 404 page?

    The functionality works in that it does enable CPT’s to be included in a wp_get_archives function. When I do this I get date based archive links to show up. However, when I click on the archive links created, I ended up at a URL like such, that looks great but 404’s!

    http://test.localhost/custom_type_url/date/2014/06/

    NOTE: single archive pages for my custom post type work great, but just not the wp_get_archives links mentioned above.
