I can’t login into my blog after installing it. I get this message:

I had read a similar problem and tried to use the adive about the white spaces, but it hasn’t helped. Any ideas?

I am not sure what’s wrong with it but if you want to login again you could try deleting the plugin through ftp.

I’ve been able to access my blog again. Thanks. I’m still stuck with the original scenario though on how to make that plugin work. Rather frustrating when stuff like this happens.

Have you checked for whitespace in the plugin file? Specifically trailing spaces after the closing ?>

That does seem to be the most common cause of the “headers already sent” error. This FAQ article might be relevant.

I have the plugin working on my site and I haven’t had that issuse….

You could always try a different weather plugin

I had to deal with a couple files with spaces and not just the weather.php. Thanks for the help everyone.

Hi everyone,

I downloaded the plugin from http://wiki.wordpress.org/?pagename=GetWeather but I keep getting an error message when trying to open the .rar file. I’m using Mac OS X 10.3.7. I attempted to open the file with Stuff It expander. The error message reads:

“An error has occurred while expanding the file ‘GetWeather-with-icons.rar’ (Format errors)”.

Would anyone happen to have an idea as to what I’m doing wrong?
