Created wordpress.com blog by mistake

I needed API key to run stats, and (stupidly) when I created the wp.com account to get one I clicked on “create blog” not just “create account”….so now I have my non hosted blog http://www.peteranne.it/wp/ and that created by wp peteranne.wordpress.com. I don’t need this hosted blog, and would like to delete it (as if I hadn’t created it) but get big warnings like you can never use this user name again…what should I do? thx Peter
