This is a bit vague. Have you checked that the quotes ‘ ‘ are straight and not the slanted ones that sometimes appear if you have copied the code from a word document or online.

Remember this is for a directory install and sub domains are a bit different. Change the details as needed in the wp-config.php. I’ve made new salt keys, so you are fine to use these.

Thanks for the help. But, I have read more and decided I didn’t need multisite.
