Can I choose if this plugin just edits the body class and author Id?

    I want the display name and username to remain as it is but the other features of this plugin to apply.

    How to do that?

    I think you should make a setting for it to give people more control over what they want.

    It may be more secure to have a username with bunch of numbers but nobody who will remember it to login in again.

    In order to do that, you can delete all useless functions.

    But my advice is to keep it that way : if you don’t change the display name, you still have a security breach.

    How so? If my username is max and I change my display name to Matt isn’t then the issue solved?

    Why do we need to turn my name in a spam bot name?

    The plugin change it to a spam bot name because the plugin can’t guess your real display name. In fact, when you create a new user in the first place, you can’t fill in the first name, last name display name. This is why the plugin use a random value for the display name.

    But you’re right : if you manually change the display name, there isn’t anymore issue.
