Private album not showing

    Hi! Thank you for this plugin. My problem is that I can not make my private flickr album appear in my website.

    In flickr, my album is set up on private : visible by me, friends and family. All the photos of that album are tagged specifically.
    I created a gallery in wordpress using this specific tag and I copy/paste the [afg_gallery id=’1′] in my wordpress page. No photos are showing. If I change the set up and put the same album on public, the photos are showing.

    For information, I filled in the flickr API secret number.

    Could you help me with that ?

    Did you grant permission to have access to private albums?

    After you enter your API secret, you need to click grant permission to complete the process.

    Great plugin, but I have the same problem, and if I try to “Grant”, I get the following error:

    Hoppla! Flickr kann keine gültige Rückruf-URL finden.

    Eine externe Applikation möchte auf Ihren Account zugreifen, kann aber nicht alle erforderlichen Daten angeben.
    —————————-
    means: Flickr can´t find a correct callback-url
    What can I do?

    @edmund11, you need to go to Flickr.com and go to your app settings. There you should find a field named callback-url, set this to your wp-admin URL.

    @pappe, did you grant permission to AFG? That’s needed to access private albums.

    Of course. That´s what edmund11 wrote. When you press the button “grant permission” you´ll get to an flickr page with an error message which tells you that something was wrong with the callback-url (or however you translate Rückruf-URL).

    Too complicated! You couldn’t do a simple thing for everyone? I lost some time without being able to publish an album.
