I’m working on a free add-on for pagination, since it’s been requested a few times. I decided to make it a separate feature, because the page transitions will depend on jQuery, and I wanted to keep Custom Content Shortcode minimal without any CSS or Javascript dependencies.

So, I’ll let you know when it’s ready, hopefully in several days.

Finally here is a beta version of the pagination add-on: Paginator.

@eliot. That’s a great simple addon to your plugin. Thank you !!!

Sorry, I’ve ran into an issue with the native plugin update process and figuring this out!

OK, I believe it’s solved now. Please try installing the latest version. It was a matter of zipping up the files in the right way for WP plugin updater.

Uh oh, when I activate it it gives me the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Ah I see, that line needs to be made compatible with PHP versions older than 5.4. OK, I fixed it – the new update should work now. Sorry about the rough start. The add-on has a lot of room for improvement at the moment, so thanks for the feedback.

That’s okay. I’m happy to guinea pig, although I’m pretty sure my php is 5.4.
