I’m working on a free add-on for pagination, since it’s been requested a few times. I decided to make it a separate feature, because the page transitions will depend on jQuery, and I wanted to keep Custom Content Shortcode minimal without any CSS or Javascript dependencies.
So, I’ll let you know when it’s ready, hopefully in several days.
Thumbs up x 2 🙂 cant wait really need it
Another vote for pagination! 🙂 Awesome plugin.
Hi Eliot, It’s pagination ready? 🙂
I guess not… 🙁 Sad… I really need this functionality…
Finally here is a beta version of the pagination add-on: Paginator.
@eliot. That’s a great simple addon to your plugin. Thank you !!!
Looks good, but when I try to upload it to my website, I get the following error.
Installing Plugin from uploaded file: content-paginator.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. The plugin contains no files.
Plugin install failed.

Sorry, I’ve ran into an issue with the native plugin update process and figuring this out!
OK, I believe it’s solved now. Please try installing the latest version. It was a matter of zipping up the files in the right way for WP plugin updater.
Uh oh, when I activate it it gives me the following error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home2/orgcodec/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/content-paginator/base/toolbox-module-base.php on line 44
Ah I see, that line needs to be made compatible with PHP versions older than 5.4. OK, I fixed it – the new update should work now. Sorry about the rough start. The add-on has a lot of room for improvement at the moment, so thanks for the feedback.
That’s okay. I’m happy to guinea pig, although I’m pretty sure my php is 5.4.
