Can you send me a link to a specific post and which image you’re expecting it to use?
Facebook requires the image be at least 200×200, which may be the issue.
Also, you can visit https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/validation/validator and validate one of your posts (use an individual post’s page) so a brief summary and an image from your post will appear in the Twitter feeds of those who follow you.
Cheers!
Thanks for the offer of help, I appreciate it. One post that you might look at, if you have the time, is:

The image I hope to use is the one at the top of the post. It’s an 80×80 image, so that might be part of the problem, but it used to work!
I took you advice and tried out the twitter validator, and while I’m not sure I’m doing it properly, the result seems to be that there’s something wrong with my posts. That is, if I enter the full link for an individual page I get a “Invalid card type” message. However, if I enter the shortened link above, the card tester says the link is OK, so I’m not sure what’s up.
Thanks again, wjackman
The 80×80 would do it. With all the social media networks, there are always a bit of a moving target. Each time Facebook or Twitter decides that a new format is best for their system, everyone needs to adapt.
While 200×200 is the minimal standard today for Facebook, they could easily say “we need 400×400 now. We’ll still display for 200×200, but require all images be doubled to account for HiDPI/Retina screens” and there’s not anything we could do about it 🙁
Your homepage would come back with that error since there isn’t a viable Twitter card type. Individual posts ( http://www.limulussystems.com/blog/2014/05/21/following-the-path-of-the-lean-startup/ ) should come back okay with the option to approve the domain, if not already approved.
Cheers!
