Give a custom field the value of another custom field

My theme uses a custom field “video_link”. I would like this custom field to always have the value of another custom field that is automatically added to my posts, “syndication_permalink”.

Is there an easy way to have the value of the field “syndication_permalink” automatically pasted to the field “video_link” whenever a new post is created?
