• Hi.

I installed my blog with no problem : its actually in a subfolder but it shows to other like its in root. I assigned an URL to the settings and i have an index.php file in root that make this working (as in the ‘how to’ here).

Ok but now i need to install another application (called Indxr) than wordpress and it needs to be in root. SO i created a subdomain with a root folder. And i installed there. But it doesn’t work.

I think i may have to move wordpress in root ?

If yes, i would like to know how to do it. IS there any ‘how to’ for doin this ? I’m scarred !

  • I never had to, but I’d read this before I’d start.

    Yep i found that.

But i would like to know if moving it could solve my issue, if not : why doing it ? 🙂

Creating a subdomain with a root folder is like having 2 differents sites right ?
So the other app should work as if there is no wordpress at all right ?
