Trackbacks Option?

    Thank god for Askimet, I have over 18,000 spams it has caught in just a few months. They are 99% “Trackbacks”. It seems there used to be a “Allow Trackbacks” option in the settings some where, but I can’t find it. Also, didn’t there used to be the option on individual posts? Where do I find this?

    In Write/Edit > Post under COMMENTS box, uncheck Ping. As it states in small print “‘Pings’ are trackbacks and pingbacks.”

    Or even better “settings”->”discussion” and uncheck “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks.)” to disable pingback and trackbacks by default.
