[gallery] insert gallery into post

    Hi,

    I have uploaded a bunch of images and edited all of the image details.

    If i select “insert gallery into post” all the html code that is produced is:

    [gallery]

    Also all images appear as thumbnails!

    I was hoping this would be a way of inserting multiple images into a single post rather than one at a time. And that all images would retain the size chosen when editing each images details.

    Is this a bug?

    what gallery system are you using, NextGEN??

    none that i am aware of.
    in wordpress 2.6 there is a button called “insert gallery into post”
    underneath all of the images you upload. i am assuming the word gallery just means all of the images uploaded.

    you must upload the images first to wordpress, THEN insert gallery, and it will show thumbnails of all the images you uploaded.
