Over complicated. Expensive. Poor badge sharing. Poor support

BadgeOS is an overly complicated badge system, with far too many functions that are not explained well in the documentation. Even so it appears to be the most professionally made system of the alternatives.

The biggest deal breaker is that in order to share badges to Facebook and Twitter you have to use a whole other system called Credly. No user wants to do this — just build Facebook and twitter sharing into the system and chare a small add-on fee ($15)

But be warned, add-ons for the system are extortionate. To get a leader board that is FREE on any other system, will cost $90 and reports are about the same.

As for support, so far I have sent the company two mails for assistance. One for badge design (I ended up making them myself) and the other to discuss custom work. I guess they don’t need new customers or money.
