Only redirects to Home

    $post->post_parent is the ID of the post where the file was attached. If it returns 0 it’s because the file it’s not attached to any post. This value is provided by WordPress core.

    So the behaviour you’re describing it’s the normal functioning of the plugin:

    Makes attachment pages redirects (301 permanent redirect) to post parent if any. If not, redirects (302 temporal redirect) to home page.
