Installed Duplicator, now I can't even log into my site

Hello,

I was trying to install my live website (still under construction, so there isn’t a lot of content) to a local host. I downloaded and installed the Duplicator plug in to back up my content. I had to leave for an hour, so seeing that everything was installed and fine, I logged out, thinking I could continue the localhost installation process later. When I tried to log again (http://www.betweenparentheses.net/wp-login.php?) nothing happens. Nothing. I’m clueless as to what happened and frustrated because I don’t even have a site anymore.
I’m relatively new to WordPress. I enjoy learning but I do find some terms a bit confusing, so please be patient with me. Thanks a bunch in advance.
