  • What are your settings on the back end? I am using version 2.2 and it works perfectly fine on WordPress 3.9.1. My settings are as follows:

    Title: Archives
    Trigger Symbol: Empty Space
    Effect: Slide (Accordion)
    Month Format: Full Name (January)
    Expand: Only post date
    Extra options:
[ ] Show number of posts
    [x] Show posts under months
[ ] Show only post from selected category in a category page
[ ] Only expand/reduce by clicking the symbol
    Exclude categories: (none selected)

Mine is also WP 3.9.1 and widget 2.2.

I matched all setting like yours to see if this works and no luck.
Even my announcer widget and my poll widget not working after putting it in active widgets.

Anyway, when I am opening CUSTOMIZE, all widgets and this widgets is showing and working fine.

    Check both screenshots.

Can you tell me what’s wrong?
This problem happened when I updated this plugin to latest version.

PS: I already deleted this plugin and res-install fresh but no success.

Ok Questions and suggestions as as follows:

    • What server software are you running your site on, IIS/Apache?
    • If Apache do you see an error_log file when you log in via FTP?
    • What other plugins do you have installed?
    • What theme are you using and have you tried reverting back to an original WordPress theme (twentytwelve/twentythirteen)?
    • Can you reproduce the issue on a fresh WordPress installation?

Answers to the above will help in narrowing down the issue.

I think it’s Apache because I can see error_log in FTP.
My VPS is running on CentOS 6 x64

    I have installed these plugins:

    I am using this theme:
    http://wordpress.org/themes/suffusion

I tried with “Twenty Fourteen” but plugin is still not showing and other plugins also not working upon activating this Archive Plugin in active sidebar.

I clicked on ‘Reinstall now’ in Dashboard > Updates and then activated the plugin but no luck.

If possible, can you give me zip file link for old version 🙁
This plugin was a necessary tool for my site.

Could you check any other plugins JS code? Check Browser’s Js errors. Seems like another plugin is blocking my plugin’s code. I’m using the official jQuery included with wordpress, if another plugin includes and old one migh not work.

Also, if another plugin do some JS error, it might stop the js code of others plugins.

Don’t know how to check JS Code.
    Sorry 😀

Anyway, I deactivated all plugins except this and started activating other plugins one by one and start checking homepage to see if your plugin is showing or not.

I found out that 4 plugins upon activating messing with plugin or something like that.
Here is the screenshot all these 4 plugins.

Can you sort out the problem now? 🙁

If you have firefox, you can press Ctrl + K, a console appears and errors are displayed in there.

I will suspect of GC Comment Box, Jetpack is made by WordPress.com so it is safe, I use WP-Poll on one of my sites and it works. Try to activate all of them except GC Message and inform me about it.

    (@neha_joshi_rocks)

I tried ctrl+k but nothing appears.
I disabled gc but nothing happens.

Even if one of these 4 are active, your plugin is not showing.

Please give me a zip for older version 🙁

Do you have any form of a test site where this problem can be reproduced so we can see it without using images?

    Plugin Author Miguel Useche

    (@skatox)

Yes, we’ĺl need some testing site. I cannot help you with only images.
