Special Characters in Comment Author

    I have a website in spanish and when someone leaves a comment with a special character in his name, when I display it doesn’t work right.

    I tried to add functions such as htmlentities and such with no luck.

    If you write special characters in the message they work fine… the problem is only with the Name.

    I’m not sure if the problem is when saving the info into the DB or after that. When I look at it with PHPMyAdmin I always see strange characters (also with the content although it get displayed correctly on my site).

    Anyone with some expertise on encoding?
