    Hi,

    Also had the initial no pictures visible with a newly created gallery, using update images – resaved permalinks and they were there.
    Is this necessary everytime ?

    And now a more major problem, have used the Nextgen Importer, I now see under galleries my new gallery, it says it contains images BUT there are none visible in either edit or preview.
    Any idea whats gone wrong here ?

    Are you going from the Lite version to the new full version? And what version of NextGEN are you using?

    Nope I had no previous version of MaxGalleria at all, have just install the new full version.

    NextGEN – whatever there latest version is – thats the point its just one too many updates that has broken things, had enough of NextGEN (the galleries were working just broke other things on the site)

    I’m able to reproduce this and I think it’s related to the most recent update. Let me dig into it a bit more and get back to you. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    To clarify, I think this is related to the most recent update of MaxGalleria, not NextGEN.

    FYI, we just released MaxGalleria 2.2.1 which fixes this issue with the NextGEN import tool.

    Brilliant – i’m impressed 🙂

    Thanks a lot, now seems to be working perfectly, and i can finally kick out NextGEN.
    I now have a new standard image gallery plugin for my sites.
