I would love to say its fantastic BUT I just lost all my widgets suddenly today on CQDX11.com after upgrading a day or so ago on one of my sites and now getting nervous about all the others.
AND I did not change themes but upgraded my Templatic / Directory / Explore theme a week or so ago with no issues till today.
Have a backup of your site and then upgrade . It will be good

Try reading the second post in that topic. The thread was closed because too many people started jumping in with completely different site-specific issues.
