• Do I need to submit a bug report or is this something that I can fix, in trying to add images to a gallery I get this message:

Warning: include(\boswinfs03\home\users\web\b201\whl.dccunit193\U193\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\nextgen_admin\templates\nextgen_admin_page.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in \\boswinfs03\home\users\web\b201\whl.dccunit193\U193\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\mvc\class.mvc_view.php on line 99

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘\boswinfs03\home\users\web\b201\whl.dccunit193\U193\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\nextgen_admin\templates\nextgen_admin_page.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.;c:\php\5\pear’) in \\boswinfs03\home\users\web\b201\whl.dccunit193\U193\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\mvc\class.mvc_view.php on line 99

If I can fix the problem myself please explain how. Keeping in mind that I am a NOVICE, please explain the steps for the fix in NOVICE terms, as if I know absolutely nothing.

Assistance with this would be greatly appreciated!

@pbks1040 – Let’s start with using the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options … if that doesn’t work then you might consider re-installing the plugin manually via FTP and over-write all of the existing files and folders in the /nextgen-gallery/ folder.

    Will try that.

Tried the first part of your solution here’s what I get for a message:

    RuntimeException thrown

\boswinfs03\home\users\web\b201\whl.dccunit193\U193\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\nextgen_other_options\image_options_tab.php is not a valid MVC template

will try a manual load via ftp as suggested.

Thanks for sticking in there with me!

@pbks1040 – If that error persists you may need to use our external Reset Tool plugin to correct things on your site. Please submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) if that is the case.

    Thanks!

I did an external reset, needless to say I have totally lost my website. Oh well back to the drawing board. Is there a way to recover the site?

@pbks1040 – Did you use our Reset Tool? … and lost access to our website?!?!!

Please respond as soon as you can to the Bug Report conversation where we provided the tool to you and we will look at this as soon as we can.

The Reset Tool itself will only affect NextGEN Gallery related items, which should have no significant detrimental affect on your site.

Yes, I lost my website; http://www.Unit193.org/U193 after the external reset.

@pbks1040 – That link appears to be going to a 404 page. It appears you are using the Twenty Fourteen theme but I cannot see anything in the source indicating that NextGEN Gallery is active on the site but I do see that the page is fully formed … there is just no CSS being parsed for it.

Also to note, you may want to look at changing your WordPress Permalinks from the default (numeric) to something like “Post name” or “Month name”. These work much better and are also more suitable for NextGEN Gallery, too.
