• I keep getting (over and over) in my error logs:

    [08-May-2014 19:30:17 UTC] WordPress database error Table ‘dbname.wp_itsec_lockouts’ doesn’t exist for query SELECT lockout_host FROM wp_itsec_lockouts WHERE lockout_active=1 AND lockout_expire_gmt > ‘2014-05-08 19:30:16’ AND lockout_host=’*********’; made by require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), do_action(‘init’), call_user_func_array, ITSEC_Lockout->check_lockout

I tried deactivating, then uninstalling the plugin. then installing again. still, no tables are created, when i look in phpmyadmin. i ended up having to create these tables myself (looking in class-itsec-lib.php to get the definitions). Not sure if this problem exists only for me or not, but thought i’d mention it.

  • Can’t say if it is caused by the same problem, but I’m seeing these errors as well.

We’re using iThemes Security as network activated plugin, don’t know if that is related. There is no dbname.wp_itsec_lockouts as the error messages say but there is a dbname.wp_2_itsec_lockouts (and a dbname.wp_3_itsec_lockouts etc).

I am getting the same error. Our server security doesn’t allow us to update plugins through WordPress – we have to FTP them. Could that be why this table was not created?

Additionally, nothing has been showing up in the iTheme Security logs ever since the plugin was renamed to iTheme. Back when it was Better WP Security, the logs in the WP admin worked fine.

    Hi All,

Could you please file a bug report for this?

Same thing here, I don’t know what to do:

    Hey All,

Could you try deactivating and reactivating iThemes Security to see if that helps?

    Gerroald

I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin.

We are running version 4.4.13 of this plugin on a network install of WP 3.9.2, and the error log is filling up with “wp_itsec_lockouts doesn’t exist”.
Is it still a problem with this plugin??

    Hi,

Could you try deactivating and reactivating the most current version of v4.4.16 and see if that helps?

If it doesn’t you may want to ask your host if they are seeing any issues with the server making tables.

    Thanks,

    Hi Gerroald,
Please, Do you know when i add any code to my htaccess file then after some hours ,all my code it that i added ,will be removed.
    Where is the problem ?please
    Thanks
    A.J.

    Hey A.J.

iThemes Security doesn’t touch any code in the htaccess that isn’t in it’s block. You might want to ask your host if they have any ideas. And it couldn’t hurt to run your site through Sucuri’s site check.
