  • Hi,

do you use a API key?
Please fill out this form and i check whats the error is on your site:

    http://www.mashshare.net/contact-support/

Please update to latest version and than use an API Key.
    This should solve your problem.

Does that mean we’ve lost all the shares?

    No, they are back than.

    Hi,

I tried getting an API Key from sharedcount.com but the site does not work at all. To begin with, the create account page does not have titles to the fields, which makes it impossible to register an account. Could we have a permanent solution to this as the counter has been resetting itself several times?

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Thanks and Regards

Mhh weird – the names of the fields are:

    1. Email
    2. First Name
    3. Last Name
    4. Password

I will notify the developer of sharedcount about this issue

Can you tell me which browser and version you are using?

    Hi,

The problem is solved. I did a few trial and error on the missing field names and I managed to create an account. Afterwhich, i managed to obtain an API key and placed it in the mashshare settings. May i ask if this problem will recur? Is this the permanent fix?

    I am using IE9

    Thanks

This is a permanent fix and will work as long as sharedcount.com is alive. I talked with the developer of it and he cares much for a reliable service and imho he is doing a very good job so i have no fear that sharedcount is working in the futue as well as now. But for any case, i will integrate a workaround in the next update which prevents loosing the shares, even when sharedcount “should” be down one time.

That’s great! Thanks for your support!
