Best place to hire theme designer

A friend of mine asked me to build him a basic website, but changed his mind mid-stream and decided to go with wp instead. I have no experience with wp, and after several unsucessful attempts to build a theme from scratch I thought I’d try this method. I’m hoping someone on here could point me to the best place to hire someone to make a pretty basic theme.
