• When we installed an open graph plugin on our WordPress-website (skrolla.se) our URLs changed, from having a trailing slash at the end to not having it. In Google Analytics this shows as if we have two versions of each post, one with the slash at the end and one without.

The site works nice now and when someone enters an URL with the slash at the end WordPress automatically redirects to an URL without the slash. However we do have a few questions:

    1. Do we need to do anything more to avoid “duplicate content”. Lika a 301-redirect, or add rel=canonical to one of the URLs?

    2. When the URLs changed we lost our old facebookshares for the articles as Facebook sees the different URLs as completely different pages. Is there anyway to tell Facebook to regard both URLs of each post as the same, thus getting our shares back?

Thanks in advance for your help!
