Disqus comments link NOT appearing on first post of home page

The first post on my home page has stopped displaying the disqus “leave a comment” link (no problem on the single page). The rest of the posts on the home page display the link. When I write a another post which now becomes the first post on the home page, that one does not display the link but the previous post does. So its always the first post that does not display.

Is anyone else having this issue?
