Support » Plugins » [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] WP E-Commerce error – PHP Fatal Error?

  • I installed the wp e-commerce plugin (which was far and away the single most challenging plugin I’ve ever tried to install) and seemed to have it working.

Then, today I loaded up the site after making absolutely no changes and got this error:

[11-Jul-2008 03:58:58] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /home/locallyf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-shopping-cart/gold_cart_files/merchants/bluepay.php on line 9 [11-Jul-2008 03:59:05] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /home/locallyf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-shopping-cart/gold_cart_files/merchants/authorize.php on line 9 [11-Jul-2008 03:59:07] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /home/locallyf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-shopping-cart/gold_cart_files/merchants/paypal_payflowpro.php on line 10

Any help is appreciated. As a result of this error, I can’t even access wp-admin!

  • I think you just emailed me right?

Anyway I think the problem is to do with some of the merchant files. If you login to merchants/ folder and delete any of the modules you are not using it should resolve this issue.

Also are you using PHP 4 or PHP 5? And if you’re using godaddy… do you really really have too 😛

If you want a more verbose converstaion around this please jump onto our forums.

    Hey Dan,

I’m having the same problem… I’ve been trying to disable error logging to avoid this from continuing happening but the host the site is on sux and that isn’t working. Since switching hosts is not an option, is there something I can change in the code to prevent the error_log files from being displayed on the screen?

You can Google “how to disable error logs” and should find instructions on how to edit your php.ini file to keep them from being created.
