    Hello,
My website runs since July 2011 and today term_taxonomy has disappeared. After a crash wordpress proposed to fix and optimise the database.

Some database problems could not be repaired. Please copy-and-paste the following list of errors to the WordPress support forums to get additional assistance.

wp_usermeta: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
wp_options: Table is marked as crashed
wp_postmeta: Table is marked as crashed
wp_term_taxonomy: Size of datafile is: 0 Should be: 1467280

And it’s true, now there’s nothing in that table. The website now runs on and off and the homepage doesn’t load correctly. Posts load almost completely except for some elements.

I’ve googled about this for hours but found nothing. Please help me

I would also add that when I try to access the admin area on http://www.theupcoming.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php this comes up:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

All the other tables are fine, I just need to know how to rebuild term_taxonomy

Please this is urgent, it’s 9 hours I’m checking the post.

this bit is sorted -> You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. -> it was due to usermeta table

Please let me know about term_taxonomy

    Hi Filippo,

Have you considered contacting your host to see if you can roll back to version of the site and database before the crash? If it’s urgent, you might also consider contacting a professional.

Hello jenny, thank you for replying. Server is self-managed therefore I am the host in that sense.

I am currently manually updating the info with bulk edit from the post editor.

Over 11,000 posts, it’s a huge work but I don’t think there’s anything else to be done?

Yeah, if you don’t have a backup, i don’t see another way :-/
    lots of coffee? 🙂
    good luck!
