Indicator Bubble on Plugins Tab

    In the admin of my WP installation, I have a speech bubble with a 1 in it on the plugins tab, (on the right), like shows up on comments when we have a comment.

    I thought this meant that I had a plugin out of date, but all of my plugins are up to date, so, what does it mean?

    It means that you had a plugin out of date, and then you either updated it manually or removed it within the last 12 hours, and so it has not had a chance to check again.
