    Hi there,

Thank you for using our plugin.

Can you please be more specific? Do you mean the text “WP Password Policy Manager” in the Change password dialog?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yes that. Its policy to always ask the end user who installs your plugin for any sort of copyright link.

Thanks for the info, we are not aware about such policies. Will definitely check about it.

10.The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a “powered by” link) without explicitly asking the user’s permission. Any such options in the plugin must default to NOT show the link.

    Hi there,

Thank you very much for the reference.

Please note that the password reset screen is not part of the public site, actually it was built by ourselves and is only available to users of the WordPress site whom password is reset.

Having said that we will still make it as an option in the future versions.

Should you have any further queries, do not hesitate to get in touch.

You show this as resolved, but I do not see a way to not display the embedded link. Please advise…

    Regards,
    Matt

    HI Matt,

Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.

As advised in a previous post the “password reset dialogue” is not part of the public site and neither part of WordPress, i.e. it is created by the plugin itself. Hence there is no need to include an option to hide such text, hence why we marked such ticket as closed. Having said that, yes in the near future we will include such option though lately we were very busy developing some other more useful features.

While I trust the above answers your queries, do not hesitate to get in touch again should you have any further queries.

    Hello all,

As explained in earlier messages we are planning of doing this optional. In the meantime you can comment out the lines 188, 189 and 190 in the file wp-password-policy-manager.php, i.e. the plugin’s file.

    Trust the above helps.
