Trying to make number insert field

    Need an advice on how to create a situation that people cant send wrong data.

    Entering readings (comma) 100.6 “text” field, then the table will go in 1004
    Entering readings (points) 100.6 “text” field, then the table is going to 100.4
    Entering readings (comma) 100.6 “Number” field, then he will not allow it to enter the
    Entering readings (points) 100.6 “Number” field, then the table will go in 1004

    This what I get at this moment. But what I need is always 100.4 .

    Any Ideas?
