importing all images at 300px wide only

    all the images being imported will only import at 300px wide.
    The original images on the original site are all at least 2000px wide.
    I’ve changed the settings in the Media tab of the new site to 1000px but all images are still being imported resized to small dimensions.

    Anyone else have this problem or have an idea of what I might be doing wrong?
