    Hi Josh,

first of all, I HAVE READ your post “visual editor does not appear”. Let me shortly explain: I had updated the tinyMCE to the newest version, then I found out it does not work with wp 3.9. I installed wp edit, but I found out that most features are in the paid version, such as my font.
So, I deleted wp edit and the newest tinyMCE version and installed the tinyMCE second to last version (5.2). Now, the visual editor did not work correctly. That means, it didn’t show up and below the editor window is a circle going around, like the hourglas.

I have read your post “visual editor does not appear” and I have deactivated ALL my plugins. The visual editor worked. Then I started activating the plugins and it worked until I activated qtranslate. So, the problem seems to be qTranslate. BUT… it worked before!! I have not the newest qTranslate plugin (because of problems) and I have not installed any other plugin recently. The only change was the tinyMCE. How can I revert everything so that the visual editor works and I can still continue to use it and also qTranslate?
I am using the tinyMCE for 2 years now and never had any problems until today!! And I made no update to qTranslate. Only to wordpress (3.9 now).

    I have wp 3.9.
    tinyMCE 5.2
    qtranslate 2.5.34
and several other plugins, such as All-in-one SEO, all in one webmaster, wordfence, Ultimate TinyMCE Google Webfonts Addon, etc.

    Any idea?

    thanks, marc
